We know that everyone has an opinion on religion. For some, religion is a good thing. For some, it’s laughable. Others still are indifferent on the whole thing. We get that. We agree there’s alot not to like. In fact, we think Jesus hates those things too. JesusHatesReligion.com is an experiment from The Church At BattleCreek in Tulsa, OK. An attempt to find common ground with those that have been burned by the church, hate rules, or can’t understand why Christians say one thing and do another. People who, like us, believe that Jesus Hates Religion.

Benjamin Franklin wrote:

The moral and religious system which Jesus Christ transmitted to us is the best the world has ever seen, or can see. However, lighthouses are more helpful than churches.

So we want you – yes, you – to take part in the discussion.

Your past experiences.

On some issues, we feel that we’ll need to outright apologize for Christendom. On other issues, we would like you to be able to try to see our point of view. We want this to be an open forum that both sides of an issue agree to be passionately engaged, opinionated, and considerate to others.

We’ll be tackling a new issue every couple of days. So, if your main problem with religion hasn’t been brought up yet, let us know.
